Description

I am a die-hard Hayao Miyazaki fan and I've been wanting to do something inspired from his work for some time. I decided to do a self portrait with non other than Totoro himself. This picture is from my favorite scene in "My Neighbor Totoro" when the girls are at the bus stop and this giant creature steps up beside them. There is a bit of an awkward moment at first and that is what I wanted to capture here.

And I am holding a Ponyo...plushie! It is not the real Ponyo. She would need to be in water. But my plushie does not. :)
