This is a recreation of a piece I did back in 2005: [link]
Basically I wanted to show where I was then and where I am now. I didn't want to recreate it exactly. I wanted to keep the same design while going in another direction. I really wanted to try to capture the strength of the character.
The quote is from "Wonder Woman: Rise of the Olympian" by Gail Simone. I just love that quote and it really shows Wonder Woman as someone you don't want to piss off.
Perhaps what got me in the mood to do this was due to Wonder Woman's redesign. To me, that is not Wonder Woman and hopefully DC will see that and will get her back on track. If they make the movie with her in pants and a jacket I'll be very upset.
